Horse Lesson $75
We will teach you Basic Horsemanship, which includes:
- Safety
- Proper horse care and management
- Communication with horses
- Grooming and tack
- Basic riding skills
- Horse behavioral problems and solutions
- Confidence Building
- And so much more….
Participation
Our lessons are available to those 5 years and older and those under 190 lbs. Students are required to:
- Respect the horses, facility and instructors
- Wear shoes or boots that are closed toed, and have a heel
- Wear long pants
- Wear a helmet (provided)
We also recommend sunscreen and bottled water during warm weather, as we aim to make this an enjoyable experience for all.
Information for Parents
Students under 16 years of age, we require the parent or guardian to be on the property during their session. Other family members and friends are welcome to come onto the property and watch from a safe distance, as long as they stay in the guest area. We welcome you to take as many pictures as you like.
Horses always love to be greeted by visitors, and after the lesson we invite you to meet them over the fence. But please do not enter the paddock areas where horses are or feed horses any treats without permission.
The Horse Experience $45
Come experience a real connection with a real horse while learning about horses and horse safety. Also learn how to communicate with a horse while riding and even experience the enjoyment of actually getting to ride one.
In some cases, people who have participated in horse activities have reported an increase in emotional awareness and even self confidence. Horses are known to be beautiful mirrors into our souls, so don't be surprise if you learn something new about yourself.
