SCOOTER

We’re excited to introduce Scooter, the latest addition to our family! This charming older Quarter Horse, with his beautiful dun coat, is not only a sweet guy but also a fantastic companion under saddle.

Scooter thrives on affection and enjoys being doted on—he loves a good chat and will happily soak up the attention. While he’s currently best suited for advanced beginner lessons, his gentle nature and experience make him a wonderful partner for those looking to build their skills.

Scooter has a special passion for trail riding, where he shines and showcases his easy-going demeanor. Whether you’re looking to improve your riding or simply enjoy a leisurely ride through nature, Scooter is ready to share his adventures with you!

Come meet Scooter and experience the joy he brings to our equine family!

Sebastian

Sebastian is a young Icelandic horse, who actually was shipped over from Iceland to America with a herd of other Icelandic horses. Although he is considered a horse he is actually pony size. He is very outgoing, loves people and has a very playful spirit. He especially loves kicking and playing with his oversized soccer ball. Sebastian is currently being trained for under-saddle work, in hopes someday to be available for kid rides. But at this time he loves getting attention and loves to be groomed.

BRUCE

Bruce has been called “Mr. Chill”. He is an 21 year old Quarter/Morgan Horse, and has lots of fun qualities that the kids always enjoy. He is a gentle soul and has a sweet temperament, which makes him a favorite of many. He has been with me for over 7 years, and has helped with teaching students about horses and how to care for them. His goofy and playful personality always brings a smile to students and visitors alike.

DARYL (1996-2021)

Daryl unfortunately, no longer with us. But I like keeping his picture and description up, because he is the reason why The Horse Experience even exsists in the first place. Daryl was a 25 year old thoroughbred, who wss a “been there, done that” kind of horse. He has done dressage, reining, trail riding and is very confident under saddle. He was a great lesson horse because of his desire to connect with people and keep them safe. But although he was tall, he really was just a big puppy! He loved people, and especially kids. New riders appreciated his responsiveness, steady gate and affectionate personality. He was with me for over 10 years, and was the go to horse for those wanting to learn to ride. But again it was very unfortunate that we lost our Dear Daryl in 2021, an he is missed everyday, but I know he is here in spirit guiding us along the path of teaching horseback riding skills to all who want to learn.
